The whole story is simple and slightly stereotyped, but in the lawful way, we can see the fist to the body of the hardcore fight, we can see the real fierce shooting scenes and explosion scenes. It is all provoking our adrenaline. It is hard to see an action film is no longer simple as the rough to show the blood heroes fierce martial arts and independent freedom like before, also this film is no longer carry forward the glory of personal heroism, put aside those vague sense and belief. Instead , the film highlighted on the life after a man become a hero.

Broker's retired life made him no longer passionate and agitated, more often in a sense of reason and patience, his changes are in order to live stably with her daughter with more harmony. And once someone touches his bottom line of defense, he will be desperate for the war, fighting for his family. The so-called fatherly love is the film's profound and clear theme.
 
In the film , the shaping of each role is fairly in place. The calm and tough agent,  the arrogant drug dealer,  his girlfriend idiotic foolish and etc. Every role has a distinctive character. Actor performance is also just right, Jason Statham’s beefie muscles and great fighting skill are the biggest attraction. In Jason’s acting , he has perfectly shown combination of the professionalism of an agent and greatness of a father.

Overall Homefront can be regarded as a very high ornamental and has a fresh tasted of a hardcore action film.
