The second instalment of the Guardians of the Galaxy series was just as hilarious as the first. Which makes it an excellent sequel. It had everything that made the first movie great, the quirky, spontaneous dancing, the retro 80's soundtrack, the engaging characters (surprisingly real when you consider they included; 3 aliens, a raccoon and a tree) and amazing banter filled dialogue. Added with a spice of originality in the plot and ongoing character development so that the whole thing didn't feel tired or overused, as sequels are wont to do. The film could be held up with Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (May the Fourth be with you) , as a sequel done right. I'd tell what happened in the film but no Spoilers here.
